A Wargrave bed and breakfast has been voted the best in the region by guests.

"Inverloddon, in Ferry Lane, achieved a top rating for the Reading area in reviews by users of LateRooms.com.
It was opened by Victoria Hermon in 2013 and has three double rooms for guests, as well as a mooring for anyone arriving by boat.
Mrs Hermon said: “We are delighted to have been awarded top rated status. It is firm recognition of the unrivalled quality we insist on here. It’s lovely because it is purely visitors who vote.”

The shower wasn't very powerful & the bed was a bit soft for us. Car parking was quite challenging”

A very comfortable and enjoyable experience in a glorious, peaceful setting on the River Thames
“Idyllic location and views, peaceful, historic house with lots of character and charming host. Close to Henley but well away from the ‘hustle and bustle’ - a highly enjoyable retreat and gorgeous spot to use as a base for exploring this beautiful area. (Lots to see in Henley, Marlow and Chilterns, beautiful walks and various NT properties including Grey’s Court.)
The shower could have been more powerful but this a minor issue for us relative to location, setting, welcoming feel, etc”

A real treat!
“Beautiful, character accommodation by the side of the Thames. A very warm welcome by the host, with fresh milk allowing us to make a cup of tea and take it into the garden to watch the gentle activity on the river.
Parking was a little tricky but quickly resolved by our host.”

“It was lovely staying here. The room with balcony was perfect, the owner was warm and friendly and the Riverside location idyllic. A lovely friendly dog too. “Exceptional location, very quiet and peaceful. Wonderful to sit on the balcony overlooking the Thames. Very friendly welcome from Victoria. Amazing breakfast room in this lovely historic house. Delicious breakfast too. Lovely 5 minute walk to station for Henley, Twyford or London. Nice cafe opened 10 months ago in village centre.
It was no-one's fault that the railway was closed for track relaying.”

“Fabulous location. Classic old village property The location is outstanding! Our room overlooked the property garden which runs down to the River Thames. Our return to our room after a lovely meal in the local pub revealed a breathtaking sunset over the river and fields beyond. The property has eclectic mix of classic pieces of wooden furniture. Victoria, who owns the property, is a charming host who serves a lovely continental breakfast in the hugely impressive dining room. We found the bed very comfortable. There are 2 lovely pubs within walking distance. Property oozes history and charm.”

"If you are looking for a wonderful homely B&B by the river near Reading then Inverloddon Cottage must be your choice.
The room I stayed in was warm comfortable and had everything I needed. It was like being at home except I had a lovely river view as well. Breakfast was taken in the family dining room and was first class. The landlady very helpful and pleasure to talk too."
